Pearl Necklace New England Motor Yacht Charter

Built in 1957 as an original Geerd Hendel design, Pearl Necklace was a husband's gift to his wife who had requested a simple strand of pearls for their anniversary. The motor yacht charter was built in Maine at Camden Shipyards, one of America's premier yards at the time. Painstakingly crafted of double planked mahogany on cedar and powered by four diesels, she was one of the fastest privately owned yachts of her size, making better than 24 knots. Rumor has it that many of a sunny Cape Cod afternoon was whiled away watching Pearl Necklace race Jack Kennedy's Marlin or the Hyannisport ferry out on Buzzard's Bay. Historically significant, she has hosted business, political and socialite figures and made a variety of TV and film appearances.

Fully restored and those exciting days but a memory, Pearl Necklace is now offered for charter as one of New England's best-loved classic motoryachts.

USCG Certified, she carries up to 49 guests in stabilized comfort with uniformed, first class service; providing a unique and elegant setting that captures the splendor of a bygone era. A professional, congenial crew of 3 promises you a memorable day on the water.
